Mt. Washington Adaptive Sports is home to a branch of Ability Plus, a non-profit organization offering adaptive sports programs for people with any type of physical, developmental or intellectual disability.
With a dedicated group of volunteers, MWAS is able to do anything from simply provide the experience of sliding on-snow to comprehensive race training for some of the country’s best adaptive athletes. U.S. Paralympic Team member Pat Parnell learned to ski through MWAS at Mount Snow.
